The Canon LP-E6 DV Battery Plate is a self-contained battery plate with a DCΦ2.5 jack that sends power (DC7.4V) out to your desired device.
On the back of the DV Battery Plate is a ¼”-20 female thread-in for attaching the battery plate to the F1 Monitor. The DV Battery Plate also comes with a Small L-Shaped Bracket which slides into the back of the battery plate and allows you (when applicable) to mount the DV Battery Plate in between an accessory arm’s ¼”-20 male screw and your device’s ¼”-20 female thread in.
