COLOR ACCURATE
amaran consistently delivers stellar color quality with its RGBWW LED chipset, and the Pixel Tubes are no different. Adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity of your pixel light with white point CCT tunability from 2,700K to 10,000K with full plus/minus green controls. And with a CRI of 95, TLCI of 98, and Tungsten SSI of 85, you can be sure that the Pixel Tubes will elevate your productions with accurate colors.
BUILT-IN BATTERIES
The PT2c is powered by a 38.5Wh internal Lithium-ion battery for up to 170 minutes of run time, and can be charged via USB-C or even fast charge at 20W with PD Quick Charging, reaching its full capacity in under 3 hours. The integrated batteries can improve your workflow on-set by granting you the flexibility of placing or hiding the LED Pixel Tubes virtually anywhere.
ENDLESS MOUNTING POSSIBILITIES
For enhanced versatility, the PT2c is equipped with a 5-sided end cap design, allowing the pixelated light to be positioned at 5 different angles, from 0º to 45º, 90º, 135º, and 180º of rotation. And when attaching the included magnetic T12 brackets or 3/8-16in eye bolt, creating interesting visuals and set pieces have never been easier.

With the power of the Sidus Link Bluetooth app, you can control all of your Aputure and amaran lights in a scene, activate stunning lighting effects, and ensure that the Pixel Tubes are always up to date. For more advanced console controls, the new amaran USB-C to DMX Adapter* unlocks DMX control while simultaneously charging your pixelated tube light, making your workflow even more efficient and seamless.

CONTROL YOUR CREATIONS
For creators who want an extra touch of lighting control and to eliminate spill from the PT2c, you can attach a collapsible 45º light control grid* via hook-and-loop straps to hone the quality of the light to perfection. The Pixel Tubes can also be left bare with its wide 180° beam angle, giving you more coverage in your shot design.

The amaran PT2c is a 2-foot battery-powered pixel tube that is part of amaran’s first-ever full-color LED pixel tube series. The Pixel Tube series is comprised of a family of 1-foot, 2-foot, and 4-foot lengths – all featuring multiple Pixel FX, RGBWW color quality, Sidus Link app & DMX(1) control, and USB-C rechargeable batteries packed into their sleek & slender form factor. At 2 feet in length, the amaran PT2c is an intuitive, mid-sized multitool and versatile tube light that expands creativity and opens a world of colorful possibilities.
For greater control and color chasing capabilities, the PT2c features 8 built-in pixels that can be independently adjusted via the Sidus Link app and 7 pre-programmed Pixel FX for a variety of scenarios, in addition to 9 System FX.
As a full-color fixture, the PT2c’s RGBWW LED chipset produces stellar color quality and accurate skin tones throughout its CCT range of 2,700K to 10,000K with full green-magenta control, achieving high CRI [95] , TLCI [98] , and SSI values across the board, with an SSI (Tungsten) of 85 and SSI (D56) of 75.
Inside its sleek T12 form factor, the PT2c is powered by a 38.5Wh internal lithium-ion battery for up to 170 minutes of maximum output. By utilizing a ubiquitous USB-C port, the PT2c can be easily charged, and can even fast charge at 20W using USB-C PD to reach full capacity in under 3 hours.
Complementing its simple design, each PT2c comes with two clear, 3/8-16in threaded magnetic T12 brackets to make mounting as easy as possible. Use the magnets to attach the pixel tube to ferromagnetic surfaces or add a 3/8-16in spigot or baby pin to mount it to a lightstand. The clear design of the brackets ensure that the mounting solutions do not interfere with the quality or output of the light.
For additional mounting options, each endcap houses a 3/8-16in threaded mount. The possibilities are endless, with the ability to use splicing connectors(2) to arrange the tubes in multiple 3D shapes, like with the amaran T2c/T4c.
The PT2c can be controlled from the new interface on the back of the tube, featuring the latest UI, or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app that powers the rest of the Aputure and amaran product lines. This ultracapable application can control all the lights in the scene, activate stunning lighting effects, and ensure that the Pixel Tubes are always up to date. For more advanced console controls, a Wired USB-C to 5-Pin XLR In & Out DMX Dongle(1) unlocks DMX control for the entire Pixel Tube product line, like the amaran T2c/T4c and F-Series products.
Combining layers of functionality, battery power, high-quality color, and a high transmittance diffuser that produces a wide 180° beam angle, the versatile mid-sized Pixel Tube from amaran shines as an effects, fill, accent light, and so much more. Lastly, for that extra touch of lighting control, the 45º Fabric Light Control Grid(3) will hone the quality of the light to perfection.
