The TiLTA LP-E6 DC Coupler/Dummy Battery Adaptor allows the user to power the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 7D or 60D... cameras from an external broadcast DC battery source.
Now prominently used in HD recording and time-lapse photography, these cameras can now be powered from V-Lock and other types of DC batteries. The advantages of using a single high capacity battery over dozens of standard Canon LP-E6 batteries is the obvious longer battery life and shooting time.

Instructions:
1. Before inserting the Dummy Battery Adaptor to the camera, plug the Dummy Battery Adaptor to the power supply. This will allow the dummy battery to power up and recognise the decoded chip.
2. Insert the Dummy Battery Adaptor into the camera and turn on the power switch.
