Built-in 62mm Filter Thread
It is equipped with 62 mm filter thread for using screw-in filters. It is very convenient for attaching the filter to the lens directly. Great for users who don’t want to carry any filter holders.

Supreme Image Quality
11mm F4.5 FF RL is composed of 14 elements in 10 groups which deliver a remarkable image sharpness. Although it is not a Zero-D lens , the 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements suppress chromatic aberrations and distortion to the minimum.

Extremely Close Focusing Distance
The lens features an extremely close focusing distance of 7.4″ / 19cm (from subject to sensor) for photographers to create macro-like shots with the ultra-wide perspective. It can also create a nice “over the shoulder shot” that gives you a sense of presence.

Stunning 10-point Sunstars
Laowa 11mm F4.5 FF RL is designed with 5-bladed aperture where a clean and appealing 10-point sunstar rendering can be created.

100mm Filter Holder
Despite the ultra-wide angle of view, the lens can use a specially designed filter holder that 100mm-wide filters can be used without serious vignetting. It gives photographers an extra option apart from the screw-in filters.

An ultra-wide field of view along with a sleek design, the Canon RF-mount Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL from Venus Optics is a unique wide-angle prime with rectilinear rendering that is ideal for interior, architecture, nature, and landscape applications. The huge 126° angle of view is aided by an advanced optical design, which includes aspherical high refractive index, and low dispersion elements, to realize well-corrected, sharp, and color-accurate imagery. The lens has a manual focus design and permits working with subjects as close as 7.5" away and its built-in petal-shaped hood helps to block stray light from causing unwanted lens flare.

• Ultra-wide prime is designed for full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 16.5mm equivalent focal length.
• Two aspherical elements and one ultra-high refractive index glass element help to control distortion and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and accurate rendering.
• Three extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and color accuracy.
• Impressively wide 126° angle of view pairs with a rectilinear design, which renders subjects with minimal distortion in order to suit landscape and architectural applications.
• Manual focusing design is benefitted by an integrated focusing tab for intuitive handling and a minimum focusing distance of 7.5" suits working with close-up subjects.
• Built-in petal-shaped lens hood helps to prevent stray light from causing lens flare and also offers some physical protection to the lens's front element.
• Front of the lens is threaded to accept optional 62mm filters. The lens is also compatible with an optional, dedicated 100mm filter holder.
• Five-blade diaphragm produces distinct 10-point sun stars and specular highlights when stopped-down and photographing point light sources.
