The LanParte baseplate is the best option for lightweight and compact rigs allowing the camera to be mounted on any industry standard 15mm rails (60mm studio spacing). The top quick release knob has a standard 1/4” screw that fits into the base of the camera. It also features a quick release tripod bridge plate that can be attached to any tripod using a standard 3/8” or 1/4” screw. The bottom knob is used for quickly locking or unlocking the unit from the tripod bridge plate. When loosened the baseplate simply slides off the tripod bridge plate. It can be attached securely to 15mm rods with the use of two clamping screws on either side of the baseplate making this baseplate an accessory that can be built on at a later date.
