This accessory is a must have to prevent strain on the threaded tripod attachment on your camera. This support is quick-release, so can quickly be added to and removed from any industry standard 15mm rail system.
The TiLTA III LS-T03 Lens Support with Quick Release Rods Clamp is perfect for making sure your camera stays aligned with the follow focus. It is designed with a quick-release mechanism for quickly removing off the rods when needed. This is useful for when changing lenses without having to unscrew any other accessories from your rig. The quick release uses a screw knob that locks the device firmly onto the rails via a sliding green hook clamp which goes right around the rails, so there is no chance of it falling off.
The unit has a sturdy clamping screw, to allow the curved support plate to be gently raised or lowered to perfectly meet the lens height. It also features a 3/8” screw threads on one side, for quick attachment of other accessories.
The part is machined from lightweight aluminium alloy, using CNC techniques and hard anodised in black to provide a finish which is highly durable, and very resistant to scratching (a far superior durability when compared to cheaper powder coated parts).
