The whole rig is mounted on the baseplate and the baseplate slides into the dovetail plate(connect with the tripod by 1/4 and 3/8 screws.) This is the feature of the DP-01 quick release function. The whole unit can be removed from the tripod in 1 second.
Please Note: This dovetial plate NOT compatible with ARRI standard baseplate.
